Winnifred $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Winnifred, and I am a caring, dependable, and patient nanny who truly believes every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and encouraged. I have over five years of experience serving in children's ministry, three years caring for my sister's children, and I founded Gem-Kids through my nonprofit, where I led creative learning activities that helped children develop confidence, creativity, and cognitive skills through arts and crafts. I am currently working as a nanny in Columbus and am certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED through the American Heart Association. I enjoy reading, storytelling, arts and crafts, educational games, outdoor play, homework help, and creating fun activities that help children learn and grow. I understand that trusting someone with your child is one of the biggest decisions a parent can make, and I treat every child with the same love, patience, and respect I would want for my own family. My goal is to give parents peace of mind while providing children with a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment where they can thrive.

$19 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 6 families in Alexandria, OH

Hi there! My name is MeganElizabeth, but you can call me Megan. I am 25 and moved to Columbus about a year ago from Greenville, OH. I’ve been caring for kids most of my life—starting at age 10 by helping care for my 6-month-old nephew under my mom’s supervision. With sisters much older than me, I naturally stepped into a caregiving role for my nieces and nephews at an early age. I began babysitting outside my family at 15 and started nannying around 19. I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience with infants, including caring for a 3-week-old foster baby several days a week for a few months, and a 1-week-old I was with consistently for over a year. I also spent about a year and a half working in a preschool, gaining experience with kids of all ages and personalities. I’ve been CPR certified since I began babysitting through the YMCA at 15. Beyond childcare, I’m happy to help with light housework, meal prep, and planning age-appropriate activities. What I love most about working with children is seeing how their minds work—how they look at life, how they process things, and those little moments when something clicks for them. It’s the most rewarding type of work to me, and I feel really grateful anytime I get to be part of their world. Let me know if there’s anything else you'd like to know—I’d be happy to answer!😊

$25 per hour for 1 child

I was an afterschool coordinator at Gym Skills Lifestyle Center. Before then I spent a year in San jose, California as a City Year success coach as a kid in underfunded neighborhoods. Babysitting is my favorite job so far. I love taking care of the kids. I am very respectful, kind. and smart. I charge a premium rate because I also am good at cleaning, can cook, and can drive. It's worth it. When I babysit I just get to play with the kids and be the responsible adult. I love seeing their personalties come out and the cute things to say. I am from Colombia, South America. Babysitting is not common there because of the danger. Getting to take care of someone else's child for some time is a privilege and I am grateful anytime I get entrusted with the responsibility. It is a privilege. I love caring for them and listening to their stories.

Edy has watched my toddler at GoYoga several times while I’ve taken classes. My little girl is very comfortable with her and I can always trust that she’ll be well-cared for. As a testament to Edy’s character, we’ve actually asked her to come babysit at our house as well.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
