I have a master’s in social work, and while I have been on a personal hiatus trying to focus my efforts on starting a family of my own, the skills of social work never go rusty! I'm currently working on getting a psychology degree alongside working and would have weeknight and weekend availability for babysitting. There's always something to do with kids that really makes the time fly, and those few moments of peace in between are always a nice breather. Officially, I have roughly under a year's experience with at-home babysitting my baby cousin and 6 months and still ongoing work at a daycare, which is the best job I've ever had and is a very interesting experience to learn how to manage a classroom full of young children. Unofficially, I have a little brother a decade younger than me that I have babysat for years and still do at times. First and foremost, I am adult and pediatric first aid/CPR/AED certified. I have the most experience with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary kids. I love getting creative with kids, whether it be simple coloring/drawing or something more complex.
