I have been watching kids since I was 10 years old, I have 6 siblings and have been there for all of them since they were first born, I know how to change diapers make bottles, care for kids when they’re sick, i know how to cook, and clean. I don’t have a vehicle but I do have my license to drive, I love kids I want 4 of my own one day and it would be a blessing to care for other children and just help where I’m needed.

I am nineteen years old, I am an online college student at Ohio University studying psychology. I took a two year Early Childhood Education course through West Shore Career Tech program. I have had two years of hands-on in classroom experience with elementary aged students, passed multiple WebXams, and I am CPR and First-Aid certified. I also have training in SIDS. I was working as a full time assistant preschool teacher and recently moved so I am looking for new opportunities! I volunteered at Gigi‘s Playhouse which is a support, education, community center for individuals with down syndrome for a year. I participated in the music makers program with children of elementary school ages. I love working with children, and I am looking forward to getting new experiences. I am also open to watching animals etc. I am a true animal lover and have 2 dogs of my own!

I'm currently working on getting a psychology degree alongside working and would have weeknight and weekend availability for babysitting. I adore babysitting and working in childcare because of the dynamics of this kind of work. There's always something to do with kids that really makes the time fly, and those few moments of peace in between are always a nice breather. Not to mention how fun it is to see what kind of personalities kids have from such a young age already while helping them grow and have fun! Officially, I have roughly under a year's experience with at-home babysitting my baby cousin and 6 months and still ongoing work at a daycare, which is the best job I've ever had and is a very interesting experience to learn how to manage a classroom full of young children. Unofficially, I have a little brother a decade younger than me that I have babysat for years and still do at times. First and foremost, I am adult and pediatric first aid/CPR/AED certified. I have the most experience with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary kids. I love getting creative with kids, whether it be simple coloring/drawing or something more complex.
