Dev 1 review
$18 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Philadelphia, PA

Hello - My name is Debjani, you can call me Dev. I am offering infant care, childcare, and pet care. I have been formally taking care of children since I was sixteen years old, but have been assisting with kids of all ages in my family for as long as I can remember. I love babies and kids, playing games, providing outdoor experiences and, most importantly, making sure they are well taken care of. I have most recently provided summer nanny services to a 5 month old and am looking for a new position. In addition to childcare, I am able to provide light housekeeping and prepare meals. In addition to children, I also love caring for cats and dogs! I have provided paid pet care to neighbors and friends, in addition to caring for my own pets - a goldendoodle, a boxer mix, and a family cat (he's a menace, but I've won him over!).

Dev has cared for our daughter as a summer nanny and part time babysitter for the last five years. She is wonderful with children! She follows instructions, is open to suggestions and feedback and is committed to really getting to know the children in her care.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
