Hi! I am Adrienne, I have been working with kids for 8 years and love it! I currently attend Temple University as an accounting major. I play soccer and softball and can play the guitar. I get along great with kids of all ages and have been through behavior management training, CPR and first aid.

I am a responsible and fun- loving woman with over ten years of teaching experience. I’ve worked with all ages from infant - 8th graders in a variety of settings. My primary focus was in a classroom with children 3-6 years old, while running a movement program for 120 + students of that age. I led an after school program for over 100 1st-8th graders. I am an artist and can create unlimited fun projects for any child. I performed in a band, singing and dancing for children of all ages and I can play guitar. I am enthusiastic about childcare and look forward to working with any family!

I started my journey in childcare/teaching at age 19, when I was hired by the JCYS Lakeview Family Center as an Assistant Preschool Teacher for their 3-4 year old classroom. What followed was an incredible year of learning (for me and the students) that ignited my passion for empowering others through either teaching or intentional care. Since that time, I have gone on to teach students of all ages in a variety of arenas. I serve as a teaching artist for New York Shakespeare Exchange, teaching elementary/middle/high school students about literacy and writing skills through Shakespeare. I have also spent time teaching in Italy, using performance as a tool for personal expression and learning about managing emotions to students aged 6-17. I just moved to Philadelphia to support my fiancee as she grows her business (we make hand-poured candles). Outside of work, I play soccer and run marathons, I host card game/board game nights, and I am an avid motorsports enthusiast (driver and spectator). I am offering child care, senior care (non-medical), pet care, and household services. Happy to run errands or help with to-do's, however I can assist. The last thing I will add is that I am a professional actor. I lead with my creativity and imagination, especially in the education/childcare space. I’m Julia 💗 Pre-nursing student at Thomas Jefferson University (nursing school next year!), certified CNA, and BLS certified, but honestly, what sets me apart is how much I genuinely love being with kids. I have ADHD, and honestly? It’s my superpower with children. I match their energy, I get their humor, and I never run out of ideas for keeping things fun. Kids feel that immediately. I’m the sitter who’s actually on the floor playing, not just watching. That said, I’m also incredibly reliable and responsible. I made honor roll my freshman year of college while working and babysitting, so busy days don’t phase me. I’ve been babysitting for years and have experience with seniors too, so I understand patience, routines, and how to make people feel safe and cared for.
