Hey families!!, I’m 26 years old. I have 3 years of professional childcare experience and over 5 years of caring for children overall. I’m fully certified for infant/toddler and preschool care and I’m CPR certified. I’m currently taking a break from working in daycare trying to focus on my collage career but I still truly love caring for children and would love to support a family more personally as a nanny. I’m an artist and I previously ran my own children’s painting business called Juice Box and Paint, where I hosted fun sip-and-paint style activities for kids ages 2–13. I’m very patient, and naturally great with kids. I also love nature and gardening, and enjoy getting kids outside to explore and learn. I drive, cook, clean, can do hair, and I’m very comfortable with pets (I have a dog myself). I’m currently fully available and open to being a live-in nanny, travel nanny, or in-home nanny. About Asuma Hi! My name is Asuma and I am currently a neuroscience research technician and a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. I offer childcare, tutoring, and household support services. Caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. As the oldest daughter in a large family and a mother to an amazing teenager, I grew up helping care for younger siblings and relatives. I also have over 11 years of experience caring for children ranging from infants to teenagers. In addition to childcare, I provide tutoring for students from elementary school through college in subjects such as math, biology, and chemistry. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Mathematics and enjoy helping students build confidence in learning and problem-solving. I am a NREMT, I have a background in first aid, CPR, search and rescue, pet care, animal rescue and more. I have been through American Red Cross' Baby Sitting Class and can provide immediate emergency care. I was a professional baby sitter in my teens for a homeschooling group and a mommy's helper! I am comfortable with most school subjects, the only things that gove me trouble is algebra, advanced geometry and some advanced chemistry work. I am confident, not too loud but loud enough to match lid energy, I love kids and love to be interactive. I also have senior experience from helping grandparents and godparents.
