Samara $17 per hour for 1 child

Hello, My name is Samara and I am a 20 year old high school graduate. I provide child, pet care, and home care. I have been watching kids for 10 years now and plan on continuing as a birth and postpartum doula in the near future. My care experience ranges from newborns to 12 year old children in school. I am happy to help with bottle/food preparation, homework and the usual house care tasks, like keeping the kitchen, living room and children’s rooms clean. I have one cat myself so cats are not a problem for me and I am great with dogs as well! I look forward to working with you!

Rosie $16 per hour for 1 child

I am 20 years old and have grown up with two siblings who are much younger than me since I was 12 years old. I was also a daycare teacher where I spent time with infants, toddlers, and school age children all day every day for 8+ hours at a time. I changed diapers, fed the children, and engaged in playtime. This was a very enjoyable experience for me as I love caregiving and spending time with young children. I also grew up taking care of my own dogs, so I would enjoy any dog-sitting or -walking jobs as well as caregiving for the elderly.

Gianna
Booked by 1 repeat family
$9 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Madison, TN

Hello my name is Gianna! I am originally from Pearland, Tx , but I am currently in Nashville, Tn for college. I am majoring in psychology and hope to be a therapist or counselor in an educational institution. A few fun facts about me! I cheered for 12 years, both competitively and in high school, I have 3 dogs and 1 bearded dragon, I love building lego sets, and I am 20 years old. I’m 5’1, tall enough to get on roller coaster rides and short enough to be an extra in Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory! I am a huge kid at heart. I love arts and crafts, I love adventures, and simply love to laugh. I have always had a motherly instinct since I was little, which I attribute to my wonderful upbringing, so being around children brings me an immense amount of joy. I do not have professional experience with childcare/babysitting outside of babysitting for my family and friends. I have cared for my boyfriend’s sister’s sweet daughter, and at the time her daughter was 2-7 months old while I was caring for her. I did diaper changes, baths, bottle feedings, tummy time/sensory activities, and putting her to sleep. I have also cared for a family friend’s daughter who is 3 years old. We play, watch movies, and giggle all day long! She especially loves putting makeup on me! While although I am not super experienced, I am very caring, compassionate, patient, and loving towards all children, so naturally I think I would be amazing to help out any family on a short notice with their sweet little ones! I also weirdly loving cleaning. My like for organizing and being clean has presented itself as valuable for my clients and an outlet for me. So while although families might not list it as a responsibility, but wanted/needed it, I can provide light house work such as, doing dishes, laundry, sweeping/mopping, and even organizing/picking up messes. I know keeping a tidy home with little ones running around can be difficult, so I would be glad to do my part in helping out where I can! I am also a big animal lover! I am a dog walker through the app Rover. So, if there is any help needed with your furry ones, I would be happy to do so!

Maria $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Maria, and I am currently in between jobs while offering child care and household support. I have been babysitting since I was 13, starting with family members, and by the time I was 16 I was a summer nanny for children in my neighborhood. I also worked as an emergency babysitter for my neighbor’s twin boys when she was unexpectedly called in for night shifts. I stayed overnight, made sure they felt safe, and got them up and ready for school the next morning. Along with this, I have experience as a camp counselor and a coding instructor for children. I enjoy engaging with kids on their level, whether that means playing Barbies, setting up a Star Wars battle, or coming up with fun crafts and games. I also enjoy helping with homework, reading together, and encouraging creativity through play and learning. Families can count on me for patience, dependability, and energy. I am happy to assist with meal prep, light household tasks, and keeping daily routines running smoothly. I also love animals and feel comfortable with all pets in the home.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
