With over 20+ years of experience in the home health space, I would be privileged to provide care for your loved one(s). My background includes clients with a variety of care situations and has led to experience comprised of but not limited to hospice care, dementia, Alzheimers, schizophrenia, autism, and more. I have worked with dozens of long-term and short-term clients ranging from 25 to 94 years of age. Typical services I provide include medical reminders, bathing and cleaning, completing errands for clients as needed, cooking (as a grandmother this is my happy place!), and housekeeping ( with over 12 years of professional housekeeping experience this is also a perk to the clients I care for). I have cared for many of my long-term clients until the end of life and have consistently received outstanding references from my client's guardians (you have complete access to these references if you need them!) Please reach out if you have any questions and I look forward to serving you!

My earliest interaction with children began as the neighborhood babysitter when I was 12 years old. My responsibilities included entertaining children as a mother's helper, monitoring siblings, swimming and all things equestrian. I continued babysitting throughout Jr and Sr high school along with becoming a Jr and Sr counselor at various summer camps. During my 4.5 years at the University of Memphis, then known as Memphis State, I was involved with Young Life as a Jr leader, work crew and camp counselor. While my children were enrolled at CMDS and Briarcrest, I was room mother, served on the PTO and helped facilitate programs such as talent shows, buy back/resale of academic books, fundraisers, helped create the Doris Smith Memorial Garden at CMDS, and more. As my children entered college, I developed a line of bakery products using recipes that had been in my family for generations. My mother's mother was Martha White Russell who's father Richard Lindsey was the founder of Royal Flour Company in Nashville, TN. I now enjoy working for several families assisting with household tasks and childcare. I am happy to cook, clean, assist with homework and much more. Please reach out with any questions or inquiries.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
