Hello! 🌸 Just a little about me: I’m a Baylor University graduate with a pre-med background and am currently preparing to continue my education in healthcare, where I hope to work with children. I’m CPR certified and have previous experience working as a medical assistant. For the past three years, I’ve also volunteered at Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital in the Children’s Surgery Unit, and I currently work part-time at UTHealth. I have several years of childcare experience and have been fortunate to build wonderful relationships with both the children I’ve cared for and their parents. Babysitting is more than simply keeping a child safe. I love getting to know their personality and interests, doing arts & crafts, teaching them new things, and making sure they always feel seen, heard, and cared for. I’m very passionate about caring for and engaging with children because it also gives me a chance to bring out the inner child in me that I often miss. I want children to feel comfortable and excited when they see me—not like a stranger is coming over to watch them! 🤭 Outside of work and school, I love film and photography, fitness, finding new coffee shops and restaurants, feeding stray animals, and spending time with my family, especially having fun with my little cousins! I am very happy and comfortable with both cats and dogs. 🤍 I also have years of experience helping care for my grandmother, who has several health conditions and needs assistance with everyday tasks, so I’m comfortable caring for older adults as well. My schedule is flexible, and I’m always happy to work with families to find times that work well for both of us.
