Reniyah $40 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Reniyah, and I absolutely adore kids. I believe children should always come first, and I love creating a safe, fun, and caring environment! I graduated from high school in 2024 and am currently attending Houston Community College. I’m working toward transferring to the University of Houston to become a school psychologist because I’m passionate about helping children succeed both academically and emotionally. I’m responsible, patient, dependable, and have a positive attitude. Whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, reading stories, preparing simple meals, or sticking to your family’s routine, I’m happy to help however I can. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable leaving their children with someone they can trust, and I strive to provide that peace of mind every time I babysit. I look forward to getting to know your family and providing the best care possible for your little ones!

Sasha $14 per hour for 1 child

My name is Sasha, and I am a senior at Sam Houston State University, where I am preparing to apply to the Doctoral Physical Therapy Program. I have a strong background in caregiving that spans children, older adults, and animals, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and compassion. I grew up caring for pets, including two dogs and three horses, giving me hands-on experience with daily feeding, exercise, and overall animal care. Additionally, my nana lived with Alzheimer’s disease for most of my life, and I played an active role in her care by assisting with feeding, administering medication, helping with hygiene needs, and managing bed sore care. My experience with children includes working at the Boys and Girls Club of Walker County from 2021 to 2025, where I worked closely with kids of all ages, primarily grade-school children. These experiences, combined with my passion for helping others and my future goals in healthcare, make me a reliable, attentive, and nurturing caregiver.

Hi everyone! 👋🏾 I offer caregiving services for children, seniors, pets, and household services. With over 9 years of caregiving experience, I’ve developed a deep passion for supporting others and tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual or pet in my care. I’ve cared for children of all ages, from newborns to older kids, and I’m actively involved in the lives of my nieces and nephews (ages 3-10 ). One of my most cherished memories is helping care for my premature twin niece and nephew. I love tailoring my care to match the personalities of the children I work with, whether it’s engaging in gaming sessions or hosting fun dance parties. Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment is always my priority. I create fun and educational experiences that cater to each child’s interests. I believe in engaging kids with screen-free activities think arts and crafts, outdoor play, and fun science experiments! I absolutely love watching their favorite movies & tv shows with them also. For seniors, I offer companionship and assist with daily tasks like meal prep, showering, and dressing. I started my caregiving journey by caring for an elderly family friend, which instilled in me the values of patience, empathy, and attentiveness. I aim to create positive interactions that enrich their lives, whether through meaningful conversations or favorite activities. I’m also passionate about pets, offering services such as walking, feeding, and playtime. I treat pets like family, ensuring they feel loved and secure while their owners are away. Sarah $20 per hour for 1 child

Growing up in a large family, caregiving was the responsibility of everyone. From the age of 10 I was volunteering in the church nursery and babysitting my nieces and little sisters. As a college student at The University of Texas, I became a nanny for a young boy with Cerebral Palsy, and his two siblings. Then later I was an attendant for a young adult woman who was completely immobile while we went to graduate classes together for social work in addition to being a teaching, writing, and research assistant at the college. I was with both families for years, and still love to "like" all the pictures of these children who are now young adults. Six months ago, I left Austin to move home at 34 to help my youngest sister raise her toddler and assist my now elderly parents in day to day tasks. Additionally these past six months, I have volunteered at a local school for summer camps and day to day learning engagement. While I have enjoyed all of these things, the time has come for me to begin working outside of the family at least part time. I look forward to making your life a little easier in your day-to-day.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
