Hello, I am a proud Houstonian, mother of two daughters, a grandmother of a granddaughter age 15, and a grandson 13 months-old. ( I currently care for him during the day.) My love for caring for children began in high school. For the summers I worked with the infants and toddlers as a teacher's helper at the University of Houston Child Care Center. I enjoyed every summer I worked with them. At age 24 I became a Cosmetology Operator, then 10 years later I moved on to become an instructor at Paul Mitchel The School Houston (2[removed]) then in Austin (2019-2022). This is where I gained my passion for teaching, and my commpassion, understanding and patience for youth and young adults. My most recent experiences of working with kindergarteners to the high school student was as a substituted with the Alvin ISD SPED department.(2023-2024). During the summers, I worked as a Certified Job Coach for the Summer Earn And Learn program, where I work along side teens, with disabilities, as they become acclimate with their new job's roles and responsibilities. I am also certified in First Aid and CPR, and currently enrolled in Western Governors University to acquire a BA degree in Special Education. Caring for your child(ren) willinclude running errands, cooking small meals, feeding, bathing, and putting your child to bed. I will always be sure to tidy up behind myself as well.
