Close to our home, good friends of the family had 5 children and I babysat for them sometimes after school and on weekends since I was 10 until I turned 12. I actually saw myself like Maria, from The Sound of Music movie. Then, I came to the States and since I came from a family of musicians, I grew up singing, playing some guitar, dancing and writing my own poetries, short plays and songs. I was blessed with 2 children, and they grew up in sports and different arts as well. I always had kids around me and besides, for 13 years while being fully involved with my son's various soccer teams (including the select and travelling ones), I was always either driving, watching, or entertaining kids of different ages. I had a huge camping van, and we went on short trips to lakes, beaches, camping sites, etc., Sometimes other parents would join me, and I made every one of them sing, play different games and teach them about animals and nature. I also enjoy all kinds of books (I have a huge collection), and I love to read to children or make my own stories for them. All my life, I had been a secretary or a receptionist back in New Jersey/ New York, but at this stage of my life I find myself with more time, and I would rather spend it with animals and with children which I enjoy and love so much.
