Greetings, my name is Angie , I am retired from the United States Postal Service, I was married for 30 years and now divorced. And I have been caring for children over a decade. I was a trained foster parent when I was married, and we also raised 3 loving, successful biological children. I had the privilege (May-July 2025) of being nanny for a lovely family in Sherman, TX to an infant girl. This position lasted 2-3 months and was ended due to parent's job contract ending. Presently I am a part time nanny during the day 4-5 hrs M-F ( August 2025- March 2026 ) to an infant almost toddler in the local area of McKinney I'm CPR/first aid certified, experienced in child development from ages 0-preteen, and most importantly I love children. From a young age I knew that my calling was working with young kids. I knew that this meant taking on an important mission in children’s lives. I graduated with a Masters in Special Education as well as a bachelors in Early childhood education. Gaining classroom experience helped me realize that each child comes with a different background and a mind full of ideas. In the midst of participating in the kids ministry at my local church, I knew that my heart was especially with those that needed a bit more guidance.
