Hello! My name is Erica and my calling is to work with children. I have received my bachelor's in Child Development and Family Studies. I have worked in school, clinic, and childcare settings ever since I was 17. My theory is that every child is different therefore, it is up to the caregiver/s to meet the needs of ever child. I am seeking to become a teacher in the near future, and hope that any experience I can get from children ages 0-18 will shape me into a professional that this current generation needs.

My experience includes working in a daycare, serving as a teacher assistant at a school, and providing babysitting for children ranging from infants (0–1 years old) to school-aged children (3–13 years old). Through these roles, I’ve gained hands-on experience with different age groups and learned how to provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care. I love being a sitter because it allows me to combine responsibility with something I truly enjoy caring for children. I enjoy being a positive role model and someone they can feel comfortable with, while also giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for. I enjoy spending time with kids and creating a safe, fun environment for them. I have many nieces and nephews as well as friends with children so I am comfortable around kids of all ages. I am CPR certified. I have had pets all my life, including birds and rabbits so I am comfortable with animal care.
