I love nurturing curiosity through play, encouraging independence, and creating predictable routines that help children feel safe, confident, and deeply cared for. I have several years of experience with infants as well as elementary aged children. Over the past year, I've had the privilege of serving as a full-time live-out nanny for a wonderful family with two energetic, curious children (currently ages 3 and 5). With my experience homeschooling and parenting my own high energy children, this role strengthened my abilities even more. My responsibilities include daily transportation in the family's vehicle to and from school, camps, appointments, play dates, and extracurricular activities, while maintaining a safe, organized, and dependable routine. Hi Families! I’m Khady, I’m a third year student at Howard University. I currently reside in Noma. I’m originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and I’ve been babysitting for about eight years. I got my Red Cross babysitting and CPR/First Aid certification at 12, and since then, I’ve been working with newborns up to teenagers. I’m experienced with all ages, but I especially love working with toddlers from 3 months to 5 to 6 years old. I also have a lot of experience with special needs, especially ASD and ADHD. I’ve worked with many families, providing date nights and backup care, and I’ve had several consistent nanny families over the years. I’m also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and spent a year and a half at UNC Rex Hospital NICU, where I gained my experience with newborns. For two summers, I also worked as a camp counselor at the YMCA, working with kids from preschool through grade school, and I absolutely loved it.
