Hello! I have been teaching and caring for kids ages 18 mos-16 years for more than 25 years. I have two kids of my own who are school age, and have experience in caring for infants and pets as well. I have taught academics, social emotional skills, reading, music, dance, cooking, yoga, sports, fitness and art. I am CPR/IED/EpiPen certified and very safety conscious. I’ve cleared multiple background checks the past four years and can take another if needed. My style is nurturing and firm, structured but appropriately flexible. I’m a strong believer in play based learning, reading and singing daily. Mary Poppins is my role model! I make record keeping and parent/family communication a priority, to ensure trust and accountability are established and maintained. I provide a brief written summary of each child’s day/week and send photo/video updates during the day.

I am a recent college graduate, where I studied environmental science and psychology (including child development coursework). I love to do arts & crafts and be outside whenever possible!
