$21 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 126 families in Coupeville, WA

Hi parents my name is Nadine. I am a responsible, caring, fun and reliable nanny. I've lived in Washington State for about 10 years now. I've been working with kids since I was 14 and love it. I started by watching my younger siblings and cousins, then kids in my neighborhood. I also volunteered as a teacher’s aide during my junior and senior year in high school. Afterwards I joined urbansitter when I started college and have been with them since then. An example of some of the things I like to do with kids are taking them outside to either the park or just the backyard to get away from the screen, if the weather permits, but if not, I keep them occupied at home with arts and crafts, reading, board games, etc. I would be a great date-night, part-time and/or weekend sitter. Minimum hours: 3 hours Cancellation policy: If possible if a parent needs to cancel a job please let me know 24 hours in advance. If the booking in cancelled in less than 12 hours I do expect to be paid 50% of the agreed hours.

Nadine did a great job with our daughter!

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 7 families in Coupeville, WA

Hi! My name is Margareth. I’m a Spanish teacher and mathematics tutor with a true passion for working with children. I have experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-age children, creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun. I am currently working as a nanny for two wonderful babies, ages 6 and 7 months. I care for them Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing attentive and nurturing care throughout the day. My responsibilities include following their daily routines, preparing meals and bottles, supporting nap schedules, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, and creating a safe and stimulating environment for their development. I enjoy planning creative and educational activities such as arts and crafts, reading, dancing, singing, educational games, and outdoor play. My background in education allows me to support children’s learning and development while making everyday activities fun and meaningful. I am responsible, patient, reliable, and caring, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident when their children are in someone else’s care. I always strive to provide attentive, compassionate, and dependable childcare. I am available for occasional babysitting in the evenings after my regular work hours, as well as on weekends. I also have references from previous families I have worked with and would be happy to provide them upon request. I am completely pet-friendly and happy to help with pets when needed. I look forward to meeting your family and providing your children with loving, dependable, and engaging care!

Eleanor $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Eleanor but you can call me Ellie! I am a freshman at WWU and I am offering child care, pet care, and household services. I am the youngest in my family but I always wanted little siblings and I’ve always loved kids. I have babysat for a variety of age groups since I was 11 years old, beginning with my newborn next door neighbor. I also have experience in leadership and teaching, as I coached ages 2-5 in gymnastics for multiple summer camps, and was in advanced leadership in high school. I am familiar with how to correctly demonstrate and describe things to children and I prioritize safety, patience, and active engagement. I also took a number of helpful AP classes during school, like psychology, so not only do I have a good understanding how their little brains work but I work hard to make sure they feel safe and understood so I can solve any problems that may occur. I am CPR certified and working on getting infant CPR certified. I grew up with two cats and a dog, and I have dog now who’s my best friend, but I’ve always loved all animals. I have pet sit for two of my old neighbors, and a handful of friends. I am allergic to cats, but I take medication for it, and I have some experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, rodents, fish and reptiles. I love cleaning and organizing, especially other spaces, and I have house sat for a number of families over the years. I also wouldn’t mind cooking or running errands.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
