Booked by 1 family in Edmonds, WA

Hello, my name is Meladine, and I have been a nanny for 3 years to a family with two children, ages 4 and 6. I would love the opportunity to assist and support your family, including the furry members, in your day-to-day life. A little bit about myself is that I am positive, encouraging, caring, and a reliable person. I am CPR certified and I have my own car, also I have some college education and I speak Spanish. I love the outdoors, paddleboarding, and watching movies. My previous job was as a lead pharmacy technician for 11 years, but my true passion is hearing kids laugh and just letting them be kids. I would appreciate the opportunity to be of service to your family. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I worked fulltime as remote customer service rep for Verizon until the company reorganized last June and was laid off end of Oct 2023. I'm looking to help families with part-time childcare during the week. I've raised 2 daughters (1 special needs), my daughter's are now 20 and 24. I cook but love to bake!

Hi, I’m Molly but most people call me Moon. I am currently going to school at Edmonds College. I’m 20 years old and am currently offering child care and pet care. I worked as a before and after school instructor at Hollywood Hill Elementary through the YMCA for 2 years. I also have experience working at an early childhood daycare and volunteering at a preschool. Through all of this I’ve gotten a lot of hands on experience in childcare, as well as many online trainings and certifications. I have my CPR and First Aid certifications, I also have a drivers license and a clean driving record. On top of my experience in childcare I have a long history with pets. I grew up with many animals and often pet sit for my mom who has dogs, cats, and chickens. I am comfortable with all animals from big dogs to small reptiles. I am also comfortable giving medications if needed.

She was great with the kids and they genuinely enjoyed spending time with her. We’d highly recommend her and will definitely be booking again.

Amelia 3 reviews
$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Edmonds, WA

Hello, my name is Amelia, and I am a special education paraeducator at Beverly Elementary. I also serve as a babysitter and tutor on the side. I have five years of professional childcare experience, from babies to middle schoolers. I have worked at before school programs, afterschool programs, special education, general education, and am CPR and CPI certified. I have experience with nonverbal children and AAC devices. I love being able to engage with children through play and art happens to be one of my favorite activities. I am also a huge reader and I love to read to children. I have navigated many different situations, from tantrums, meltdowns, and refusal to complete schoolwork, to elopement, backtalk, and student on staff violence. Through it all, I have always been able to keep a cool head and remain patient and kind throughout the situations. At the end of the day, I put the wellbeing of my students/childcare kiddos first. I wouldn’t do this job if I didn’t care about kids wholeheartedly, through good days and rough ones. Outside of childcare, I love to read, make art, go on hikes, work out, and spend time with my loved ones. I enjoy a good movie or show but I’m not huge on screen time. Please message me if you have any questions, I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your family :)

Amelia is awesome! Our boys got along famously with her and we couldn’t be happier with her excellent level of care and professionalism. Thank you, Amelia, we will book again soon! Yay to more date nights!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
