Hello! I’m Kimberly and I’ve been using UrbanSitter for 6 years! I began working with kids when I was around 16, starting with the kids of the teachers at my school as well as family members. After that, I helped my aunt often with her home daycare. I have nannied children of all ages. I’ve nannied for the same couple of families for the past 2 years. I enjoy doing activities with the kids and getting to know them. Other than nannying, I love to dance, hike, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.

“She was great and kept up with Our energetic son. ”

FYI I am located in the Fremont area and do not have a car. Only accepting clients in Seattle proper unless transportation is otherwise coordinated. Thank you! Hi! I’ve been caring for kids, pets, and helping households in different ways for many years. I started babysitting in high school and continued on and off through college, and also worked as a camp counselor in high school with kids going into kindergarten. I’m additionally a proud aunt to two boys (Ian is 3, and Ellis was just born on May 2!) and have spent a lot of time caring for and babysitting them over the years. I’m naturally very creative, patient, attentive, and emotionally aware, and I care a lot about making sure kids feel safe, listened to, respected, and genuinely seen. I’m also reliable, responsible, and organized, so parents can feel comfortable knowing things will actually be handled well and consistently. I enjoy engaging with kids in a real way rather than just supervising them passively, whether that means creative activities, outdoor time, games, helping with routines, or simply being a calm and supportive presence. Animals have also been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs, worked at a dog groomer in high school, fostered dogs through the ASPCA and Furever Home Rescue in New Jersey, and adopted my own rescue dog through Big Dog Rescue Project in 2020. I currently work professionally through Rover and have experience with walks, drop-ins, overnight care, routines, medication support, and caring for pets with different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I take pet care very seriously and understand how important trust, communication, safety, and consistency are when someone is caring for a beloved animal. Beyond caregiving, I’m also highly organized and happy to help with general household support such as tidying, organizing, errands, light cleaning, meal prep, pet-related cleanup, receiving deliveries, watering plants, or helping keep things running smoothly overall. I’m adaptable, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy helping create a more peaceful and supported environment for people. I’m new to Urban Sitter and haven’t collected reviews here yet, but you can find reviews on my Bambino babysitter profile, or check out my LinkedIn page. Happy to provide both to you when we connect.

I studied Early Childhood Education and will soon continue my studies in Therapeutic Pedagogy. I am currently in the United States with the goal of improving my English while continuing to grow professionally in the field of child development. My English level is basic, but I am constantly learning and improving. I have more than 8,300 hours of childcare experience and am trained to care for children from newborns to 10 years old. My experience includes working in a Montessori school, church children's programs, and social work supporting children from underserved communities. I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel safe. I enjoy outdoor activities, creative play, reading, and creating a positive and nurturing environment. I would be delighted to be a supportive, caring, and responsible presence in your child's life.

Booked by 6 families in Medina, WA

Hi there, My name is Selay. I’m 30 years old and originally from Turkey. Spending time with babies and children is a true passion of mine. It brings me great joy to witness their curiosity as they explore the world around them. Caring for children has always been an important part of my life, not just as a job, but as a natural part of my family life as well. As the eldest child, I took on caregiving responsibilities at a young age. While my parents were working full-time, I was closely involved in caring for my younger sister from the time she was a baby, and I also helped look after many of my cousins. Growing up surrounded by children taught me so much and shaped me in many positive ways. I came to the United States as an Au Pair. I worked with the same family for three years, and during that time I also had the opportunity to work regularly with other families. Through these experiences, I have cared for children of nearly all age groups, including newborns. Over the past five years, I have developed extensive experience providing attentive, nurturing, and safe care for newborn babies during their most delicate and important early stages. With my current family, I began caring for their baby when he was just 1.5 months old, and we have been together throughout his entire growth journey. He is now 2 years old, and as he will soon be starting daycare, I am looking for a new position. My experience with newborns also inspired me to deepen my knowledge through professional training. I have completed birth and postpartum doula training, which strengthened my understanding of newborn care, postpartum support, and the emotional and practical needs of families during the early months. I am also currently completing Montessori teacher training. This has helped me better understand child development, independence, respectful caregiving, and how to create an environment where children can learn and grow at their own pace. Through all of these experiences, I’ve come to realize how fulfilling it is to work with children of all ages. Teaching them while also learning from them is truly a magical experience. If you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would love to talk about how I can support your family. Thank you, Selay

“Selay was great - she showed up on time and had great energy with our kids. Our kids enjoyed time with her and she put our kids to bed smoothly so we got to enjoy a quiet home when we came back!”

Hi! I’m Isabel! I’m a caring, patient, and dependable babysitter with several years of childcare experience, from babies and toddlers to older kids I especially enjoy caring for little ones and I’m very comfortable with the routines that come with them, including bottles and feeding, diaper changes, naps, soothing, playtime and bedtime. I know how important consistency is with babies so I always do my best to follow the routines and preferences parents have established at home With older kids I enjoy keeping them engaged with games, crafts, outdoor activities, reading, or simply spending time doing the things they enjoy. I’m also comfortable preparing simple meals and snacks, helping with bath and bedtime routines and doing pick-ups and drop-offs when needed I’m attentive, calm, and affectionate and I genuinely enjoy building a connection with the kids I care for. I also value good communication with parents and want them to feel comfortable and confident while their little ones are with me I’m happy to help with light tidying related to the kids and I’m very comfortable around pets too I’d love to meet your family and see if I could be a good fit!

“Isabel did a great job taking care of our five year old daughter, who had a wonderful time. They played outside, baked, and talked. Isabel was punctual, communicative, and friendly. We hope to have her take care of our daughter in the future, and would highly recommend her to other parents. ”

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
