$21 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 126 families in Oak Harbor, WA

Hi parents my name is Nadine. I am a responsible, caring, fun and reliable nanny. I've lived in Washington State for about 10 years now. I've been working with kids since I was 14 and love it. I started by watching my younger siblings and cousins, then kids in my neighborhood. I also volunteered as a teacher’s aide during my junior and senior year in high school. Afterwards I joined urbansitter when I started college and have been with them since then. An example of some of the things I like to do with kids are taking them outside to either the park or just the backyard to get away from the screen, if the weather permits, but if not, I keep them occupied at home with arts and crafts, reading, board games, etc. I would be a great date-night, part-time and/or weekend sitter. Minimum hours: 3 hours Cancellation policy: If possible if a parent needs to cancel a job please let me know 24 hours in advance. If the booking in cancelled in less than 12 hours I do expect to be paid 50% of the agreed hours.

Nadine did a great job with our daughter!

Victoria $16 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Victoria. I truly enjoy caring for others and have experience working with children of all ages. I've also worked with children with autism, disabled adults, and seniors, which has helped me develop strong patience, compassion, and understanding when providing care. I have a flexible schedule and would love to help families who need dependable and caring childcare. I have a valid driver's license and previously held a CDL for transit. I'm happy to help with light housekeeping, cooking, caring for multiple children, and keeping kids engaged in a safe and positive environment. I'm also open to helping seniors who may need companionship or assistance. I am CPR/First-Aid/AED/BLS certified and I have blood borne pathogens certification. I also am always open to learning new skills so I can provide the best care possible and support your family in any way I can.

Eleanor $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Eleanor but you can call me Ellie! I am a freshman at WWU and I am offering child care, pet care, and household services. I am the youngest in my family but I always wanted little siblings and I’ve always loved kids. I have babysat for a variety of age groups since I was 11 years old, beginning with my newborn next door neighbor. I also have experience in leadership and teaching, as I coached ages 2-5 in gymnastics for multiple summer camps, and was in advanced leadership in high school. I am familiar with how to correctly demonstrate and describe things to children and I prioritize safety, patience, and active engagement. I also took a number of helpful AP classes during school, like psychology, so not only do I have a good understanding how their little brains work but I work hard to make sure they feel safe and understood so I can solve any problems that may occur. I am CPR certified and working on getting infant CPR certified. I grew up with two cats and a dog, and I have dog now who’s my best friend, but I’ve always loved all animals. I have pet sit for two of my old neighbors, and a handful of friends. I am allergic to cats, but I take medication for it, and I have some experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, rodents, fish and reptiles. I love cleaning and organizing, especially other spaces, and I have house sat for a number of families over the years. I also wouldn’t mind cooking or running errands.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
