I’ve been a head coach for a women’s rugby team, a coach for Washington Special Olympics, and a certified personal trainer. I also hold an expired CNA license and continue to bring that same level of care to everything I do. When I’m not working I’m behind the camera as a freelance photographer. I am a 36 year old mother of 4 ages 7, 10, 18 and 19. In addition to parenting my own children, I have worked in social/human services my whole life. Starting out as a camp counselor in my teenage years leading years, then onto daycares, school assistants and peer counseling. Most recently i worked with children and families who suffer from mental illness and behavioral issues in and outside of the home-in the school and juvenile detention centers. I also have experience working with the elderly and disabled. And my beautiful ten year old has Asperger’s syndrome. I also make a great home assistant. My cooking is excellent and I keep a very clean and organized space at all times. I don’t mind running errands or transporting as needed. Pets are fine outside of my home. I am looking for part time primarily but could potentially do full time depending on the hours and situation.

I have extensive experience caring for children, families, and individuals in both professional and personal settings. I worked as a Supervisor at a daycare, where I was responsible for the safety, well-being, and development of children of different ages. I also have experience supporting families through my background in psychology, which has given me strong skills in communication, empathy, patience, and understanding individual needs. In addition, I have years of experience caring for older adults and family members, including helping with daily routines, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. I am also comfortable caring for pets and understand the importance of consistency, responsibility, and attention to detail. My greatest strengths as a caregiver are my compassion, reliability, patience, and ability to remain calm under pressure. I am naturally nurturing, highly responsible, and genuinely enjoy helping others feel safe, respected, and cared for. I am attentive to both physical and emotional needs, and I take pride in creating positive, trusting relationships with the people I support. My children love me very much, and we spend a lot of time together — playing, learning, growing, and enjoying every day. I have a degree in music education for children. I truly love working with kids, seeing their genuine emotions, and helping them discover their creativity and love for art.
