Booked by 1 family in Suquamish, WA

i have been working with kids for over 10 years, working with all different ages from 6 weeks old to teens! I was a nanny for years, including being an au pair twice. I have created preschool - style curriculum, worked with families who limit screen time, and adore playing pretend! I have also been a teaching artist in children's theater and a camp coach for circus skills. I love comedy, clowning, storytelling, the outdoors, exercise, and doing crafts. I am an advocate for autistic children and kids with ADHD. I have worked with so many neurodivergent kids, have taught neurodivergent-forward improv classes and I have co-created and facilitate a workshop for educators on how to create a neurodivergent-friendly classroom.

Karly made sure to ask questions and understand how to best care for our kid! She got him to bed and made sure he was entertained while we got to have dinner outside the house. Would definitely recommend her and already have her looking after our child on Friday!

Jordan $21 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Jordan. I am a recent college grad from UW Seattle. I am very outdoorsy, personable, compassionate and patient, and I love children and animals! I have been babysitting and pet sitting since I was in high school in 2017. I am currently working full time as a Day Camp Counselor with the Outdoors for All Foundation. I was invited back to summer programming after excelling as a children’s Adaptive Ski Instructor during the winter season. In this role, I supervise and engage youth in adaptive recreational activities, ensuring fun and safety in a camp setting that tailor to individual needs. Along with my co-counselors, I help to promote social development, independence, confidence-building through accessible play and recreation. This role ends at the end of summer, so I am looking for a full time role as a nanny this fall! I have experience babysitting children of all ages, my most recent nanny position was for two boys (6, 4) for the first 6 months of 2025. I prepared breakfast and packed lunches, drove them to school, and picked them up from school when requested. I was also a consistent caretaker for a family in my hometown for a girl and a boy (5, 1) for 3 years. I love taking children on walks/to the park, doing puzzles and learning games, reading to them, cooking and feeding them, and taking them to any necessary appointments, schooling, etc. I have a car so I am available to drive if needed. I have lots of experience with pet-sitting, primarily with large dogs (golden retrievers, doodles, bulldogs, and a German shepherd). I also grew up with dogs my whole life and have never met a dog I didn’t love (also fond of cats, but have less experience pet-sitting cats). I volunteer at the Seattle Humane Society and am a huge lover of pets. Some of my favorite things to do when dog-sitting are going for walks, taking them to the dog park (if they are comfortable with other dogs/people), and spending time with them inside. I have plenty of references if you are looking to get in touch with any of my past contacts. Please reach out to me on this platform if you are in need of assistance!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
