About this babysitting job

Looking for a patient, easygoing caregiver for an overnight stay (Sept 6 - Sept 11) while I'm traveling for work. My son is a typical 13-year-old with ADHD. He loves video games, is pretty independent during the day, but can definitely be stubborn—especially when it comes to wrapping up gaming and getting to bed on time! I will set clear behavioral expectations with him before I leave, so you won't need heavy-handed discipline, but I need a calm, mature caregiver who is comfortable redirecting an ADHD teen. Pay Structure: • Offering a Flat Rate of $250 - $300 per 24-hour day (negotiable based on experience). Top Priorities for the Role: 1. Medications & Meals: Ensure he takes his daily meds on schedule and gets dinner/breakfast. 2. Bedtime Routine: Help keep bedtime on track without getting into power struggles. 3. Morning Prep: Ensure he gets up, ready, and off to school on time (~8:30 AM). 4. Labor Day (Mon 9/7): Be present around the house for at least half the day (no need to hover all day—just ensure he's doing alright). 5. Daily Status Report: Send me (Dad) a quick, honest daily status update via text or email. Schedule & Expectations: • Sleep at the house each night (Sun 9/6 – Thu 9/10). Private guest room & high-speed WiFi provided. • Evenings start ~5:00 PM (Sun–Thu); Sun arrival at 12:00 PM to meet before my flight. • Off the clock / Free time during school hours (Tue–Thu 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)—you are free to go to work/class, study, or run errands! Looking for someone communicative, grounded, and experienced with teens/ADHD.
