About Our Family We are an active, loving French family based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with two young daughters (aged 3.5 years and 6 months). We are seeking a warm, energetic, and proactive Nanny / Household Manager who is looking for a long-term role, growing with our family, and helping us keep our household running smoothly. ​Position Overview ​Schedule: ​- Afterschool care: 3 days per week ​- Date night: 1 evening during the week ​- Weekend support: A few hours over the weekend - ​Travel: Occasional availability to join us on family vacations is a plus Exact times and days could be flexible (example a few hours on Saturday instead of Sunday, or date night on Thursday instead of Wednesday). ​Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn ​Key Responsibilities - ​Childcare: Provide engaging, caring, and attentive supervision for our two daughters. We have two daughters but you will primarily focus on one child while the other parent is present and caring for the other. ​- Meal Prep and Groceries: Prepare healthy meals for the family and assist with weekly grocery shopping or order management. - ​Child-Related Housekeeping: Handle the children’s laundry, clean up after dinner, and keep toy and play areas tidy and organized. ​- Family Support: Assist with general household management to maintain an organized, comfortable home environment. ​ Requirements and Qualifications ​- Languages: Fluent English required. Conversational or fluent French or Spanish is a plus. - ​Experience: Proven experience caring for toddlers and infants, with strong references. ​- Personality: Warm, energetic, reliable, and proactive with a flexible "can-do" attitude. ​- Core Values: Looking for someone who genuinely wants to build a long-term connection with our family and support our children's development. ​- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel on family trips is preferred.
