About this nanny job

We’re looking for a caring, reliable overnight caregiver to support our newborn daughter for a short-term stretch. Our daughter, Sasha, is healthy and generally sleeps through the night. This isn’t a high-activity overnight role. She and the parents will typically be asleep for most of the shift. Your job is to be present and responsive if she wakes for a feed, which happens occasionally rather than every night. This is a short-term position, roughly 2-3 weeks, and we’re hoping for daily commitment during that window. The shift approximately runs 7pm-7am. Please note that parents may be out of the home for part of the shift, so you’ll need to be comfortable being solely responsible for Sasha during those hours. We’re working on gradually weaning Sasha off her overnight feeds, so experience with infants navigating sleep transitions or irregular sleep schedules is a big plus. A couple of things to know about our home: we live in a multi-floor townhouse, so you’ll be moving between floors during the shift. We also have a small dog. He’s friendly and not your responsibility, but comfort around small dogs is a must. We have cameras in the nursery and common areas, so please be comfortable with that. We’re a rainbow family, and warmly welcome caregivers of all backgrounds.
