After-School Sitter Needed—. Weekday Pickup & Home Care (Montclair, NJ) Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30–7:30 PM Pay: $25/hr About the job: We’re looking for a reliable, warm sitter to pick up our son (4 years old) from Park Street Academy (46 Park St) at 5:30 PM, walk him home in his stroller. (15 min), and stay with him at our home on Maple Ave until we’re able to relieve you around 7:30 PM. Clock-in is 5:15 PM to allow time to get to the school before pickup. This is a recurring weekly commitment, same days each week. Responsibilities: * Arrive at Park Street Academy in time for 5:30 PM pickup * Walk our son home * Provide light supervision, play, and a snack/light dinner at home * Basic homework/reading time if applicable * Keep him safe and engaged until a parent arrives What we’re looking for: * Experience with young children (references required) * CPR/First Aid certification preferred * Comfortable walking with a child in all weather * Punctual and communicative (text updates appreciated) * Background check required (via Care.com) What we offer: * Consistent, predictable weekly schedule (4 days/week, ~2hrs/day) * Competitive hourly rate, paid weekly * A calm, kid-friendly home environmentNanny job details
