We have two beautiful children—a 5-year-old boy who is starting kindergarten this year and a 2.8-year-old girl. Both kiddos are happy, social, and full of personality! They love music and dancing, coloring, cuddles, playing outside, and exploring new things. Our son is on the autism spectrum and is continuing to develop his verbal communication skills. He is a happy, loving child who thrives with patience, consistency, structure, and positive engagement. We are looking for someone who is comfortable supporting his communication and helping him navigate transitions while celebrating his strengths. We are an active family who enjoys spending time at the pool, playing in our backyard, visiting places in our community, and learning and experiencing new things together. Our home has several established structures and routines that help our family run smoothly, and consistency is important to us. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn our routines, follow our family’s approach, and become a trusted part of our children’s lives. Our Ideal Caregiver We are looking for someone who is: * Warm, nurturing, patient, and dependable * Comfortable caring for two young children * Energetic and enjoys playing and engaging with children * Comfortable supporting a child with developmental and communication differences * Able to provide structure while still being fun and flexible * Attentive to safety and supervision * Comfortable with outdoor activities, pool days, and community outings * A strong communicator who will keep us informed about how the children are doing * Respectful of our family’s routines, expectations, and parenting style Ultimately, we’re looking for more than a babysitter—we’re looking for someone who can become a trusted extension of our family and community. We want our children to feel safe, loved, supported, and excited to spend time with their caregiver.
