About this nanny job

My wife and I are both physicians at Dell Medical School and looking for an energetic part-time nanny for our two young children (3-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl) after school, 3–4 days per week. Location: Austin, TX — Brentwood/Crestview (North Central Austin) Schedule: 3–6 PM, flexible 3–4 days/week (Mondays & Thursdays are highest priority) Start date: Flexible, as soon as September 8th Additional Role Details The primary focus is engaging playtime and enrichment — leading fun activities and supporting learning through play. Light household duties are a secondary part of the job. Main Responsibilities • Pick up kids from school (just 5 minutes from our house — minimal driving!) • Plan and lead fun activities in the neighborhood (parks, games, crafts, outdoor play) • Prep lunches for the next school day • Warm up a simple dinner for the kids on some evenings What We're Looking For • Someone energetic, patient, and genuinely enjoys being around young kids • Reliable and comfortable with light driving (school pickup only) • Available 3–4 afternoons/week, 3–6 PM • Prior childcare experience and references required Compensation $22+/hour, depending on experience and scope of responsibilities.
