About this nanny job

After-School Family Assistant and Driver We are looking for a dependable, organized family assistant for our two daughters, ages 11 and 9. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00–7:00PM, with occasional flexibility until approximately 8:00 PM. We hope to find someone who can start soon and provide consistent, long-term support. The primary responsibility is safely transporting the children from school or home to nearby activities, including swimming, tennis and piano. Their schedule varies by day, so punctuality, organization and clear communication are important. Responsibilities include: * School and activity pickups and drop-offs * Making sure each child reaches her coach or instructor * Preparing snacks and simple dinners for children * Helping organize activity bags and belongings * Children’s laundry and putting away clean clothes * Loading or unloading the dishwasher * Light kitchen and household tidying * Occasionally letting out or walking our friendly golden retriever Household tasks would be completed during available time between transportation and childcare responsibilities. This is light support, not a housecleaning position. The ideal candidate: * Has a safe, reliable car, valid driver’s license, appropriate insurance and a clean driving record * Is dependable and comfortable independently managing a changing activity schedule * Communicates promptly about pickups, delays and schedule changes * Is comfortable preparing simple meals * Is comfortable with dogs * Can commit consistently to the Monday–Friday schedule If you enjoy engaging with older kids and would like to become a trusted, reliable part of our family’s weekly routine, we would love to hear from you.
