Hi there! We’re a fun, easygoing family looking for a warm, dependable part-time nanny for our sweet and energetic 3-year-old daughter, Jade. The position guarantees a minimum of 11 hours per week: * Tuesdays: 10:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. * Wednesdays: 10:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. We may occasionally offer additional days when Jade is out of school; or when her parents need a little break because parenting is beautiful…and exhausting. 😂 We’ll provide 2–4 weeks’ notice whenever possible. A typical day includes taking Jade to swim lessons from 1:00–1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 2:00–2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Her nap begins at 3:00 p.m., and that’s the one part of the schedule we’re pretty firm about. Outside of nap time, we encourage creativity! You’ll have the freedom to plan fun, age-appropriate activities and outings that include enrichment, play, and learning. Jade has a great yard, plenty of toys and activities at home, nearby parks she loves, and friends available for occasional playdates. We want you to enjoy your time together; not feel like every minute has to be rigidly scheduled. Responsibilities include tidying up after Jade and occasionally helping with light household tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or wiping down counters. We’re very collaborative, communicate openly, and want our nanny to feel comfortable and appreciated in our home. We also have two Cane Corsos whom Jade absolutely adores. They usually remain in their own space behind a baby gate, so you won’t be responsible for managing them during regular nanny hours. Occasionally, when we’re out of town, we may offer additional paid opportunities to let them into our fenced backyard and feed them. We would only ask this once everyone; including the dogs; is completely comfortable. They’re big, but easy to win over: treats, a friendly greeting, and a good head or butt rub usually do the trick. 😂 A bilingual nanny who speaks English and Spanish would be wonderful, but it is not required. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone dependable, nurturing, communicative, comfortable around large dogs, and interested in becoming a trusted part of our family. Family and showing up for one another mean a lot in our home, and we hope to find someone who values the same.Nanny job details
