About this nanny job

My husband and I need We are looking for a warm, reliable, and caring afternoon caregiver for our wonderful 3-year-old son, who attends 3K on the Upper East Side. We need someone Monday–Friday from approximately 2:15–4:00 PM for recurring school pickup and afternoon care. Our son is loves cars, singing, ocean animals, and spending time with his family, especially his grandpa. After picking him up from school, afternoons can be simple and fun and might include a trip to the library, a quick visit to a nearby park, or a leisurely walk north toward our neighborhood while we make our way across town. We are looking for someone who is patient, dependable, safety-conscious, genuinely enjoys young children, and is comfortable keeping a 3-year-old engaged through play, conversation, walks, and simple activities. Prior childcare experience and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred. Most importantly, we would love to find someone who will build a warm, trusting relationship with our son and become a familiar and positive part of his afternoon routine.
