Position Title: Nanny Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable, nurturing, and organized nanny to provide attentive care for our children in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. The ideal candidate is experienced with children of various ages, enjoys planning age-appropriate activities, and can help maintain daily routines while fostering learning and development. Children at the time of starting will be 5 years old, 4 years old, 2 years old, and 4 months old. The oldest two will be attending school during the day, but depending on their comfort level with the bus may require pick up and drop off; a vehicle with appropriate seating will be available when all four children are in your care and car seats will be provided for your vehicle as well. Responsibilities: -Provide attentive and compassionate care for children throughout the day -Maintain children’s daily schedules, including meals, naps, school drop-off/pick-up, and activities -Plan and engage children in educational, creative, and outdoor activities -Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children -Assist with children’s hygiene, dressing, and developmental milestones -Perform light housekeeping related to the children, including tidying play areas, children’s laundry, and cleaning bottles/dishes used during care -Monitor children’s health, safety, and well-being at all times -Communicate regularly with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and concerns -Transport children to appointments, school, or extracurricular activities as needed Qualifications: -Previous childcare/ nanny experience or education in early childhood education/development -CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation -Strong communication and organizational skills -Ability to multitask and maintain a positive, patient attitude -Non-smoker -Background check required and drug test completion prior to final offer Desired Qualities: -Warm, dependable, and trustworthy -Patient and attentive to children’s individual needs -Proactive and self-motivated -Comfortable working independently -Flexible and adaptable to changing family needs Schedule: Full time beginning mid October Monday-Friday 7a-4p Compensation: -$20 an hour with raise opportunities -2 weeks of paid vacation (1 week chosen at your discretion, the second to be utilized during family’s planned vacation time)
