About this nanny job

Hi! We're looking for a part time caregiver for Ava. She's 9 months, joyful, gentle and focused. M/W/F, 11am to 5pm, near Precita Park. •⁠  ⁠Above all, we want someone who's simply delighted to be around Ava. •⁠  ⁠We love the "do less" approach, which is the RIE philosophy. Ava plays beautifully on her own, and we want someone happy to sit back and let her stay in her flow rather than entertaining, narrating or constantly stimulating. •⁠  ⁠If you're curious about child development, we'll pay for RIE or Montessori workshops and for the CCSF child observation class, which you could attend with Ava. Could be a lovely fit for a college student. •⁠  ⁠She naps in a carrier, so you'd be wearing her 30 to 90 minutes a day, although you can sit down for most of it. (loooots of baby snuggles!) Feel free to read, work, etc while she naps. •⁠  ⁠We live communally with two other families, so there are usually people around. We'd love someone who enjoys a house like that. - We’re searching for someone who speaks English conversationally, mostly so that you can converse comfortably with our housemates Please reach out! ❤
