About this nanny job

We’re a family of four — two young kids, ages 2 and 4 — in Williamsburg, looking for a warm, reliable afternoon nanny to help with pickup and care Monday through Friday, roughly 2:00–6:00pm. Responsibilities include picking the kids up, engaging afternoon activities and outdoor time, light homework/reading support for our older child, and some light tidying tied to the kids’ spaces (playroom pickup, kids’ laundry — not full housekeeping). We’re a busy household and value someone punctual, proactive, and genuinely warm with young kids. It would be a real plus if you enjoy cooking and would be open to preparing a simple family dinner on one or two days a week — this isn’t a daily requirement, just something we’d love if it’s a fit. We’re looking to start in early January 2027 and are flexible on the exact schedule once we find the right person. Two or more verifiable childcare references and a background check are required.
