We recently welcomed a newborn son and are seeking an experienced, warm, and reliable part-time nanny to help care for him while Mom and Dad work from home. Baby will be about two (2) months old at start. A candidate who is a good fit for us is communicative and proactive, gives regular updates without being asked, and treats newborn/infant care as more than a checklist. We're looking for someone who is calm under pressure, has deep experience with infant care, enjoys being active - happy to be outside, on the go, and hands-on - rather than just watching baby sleep, and is trustworthy, discreet, and comfortable being a steady, warm presence in our home. We also have a lovable, mid-size dog who'll be curious and want to be involved; candidates should be comfortable and happy engaging with him. Responsibilities: Newborn care: feeding (bottle/breastmilk handling), diapering, soothing, sleep routines Tracking feeding/sleep schedules and communicating with parents Light tidying of baby's space, laundering baby items, sterilizing bottles Supporting parents, as needed, with schedule management for baby's appointments and activities Accompanying baby to pediatrician appointments or other activities as needed Creating a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment as baby growsNanny job details
