About this nanny job

We are looking for a warm, dependable, and attentive babysitter to care for our 10 month old son. Your main responsibility will be caring for our son and keeping him safe, engaged, and happy. We want someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with babies and will actively interact with him throughout the day. A few things we'd like is: * Providing attentive and loving care * Speaking fluent Spanish with him throughout the day * Engaging him in age appropriate, screen free activities such as reading, singing, playing, and neighborhood walks * Preparing and offering his bottles, meals, and snacks according to our instructions * Changing diapers and following his usual nap routine * Following all safe-sleep and household safety guidelines * Cleaning up after meals and playtime, including his bottles, dishes, toys, and eating area * Keeping us updated about his meals, naps, diaper changes, and activities What we’re looking for: * Fluent in Spanish * Prior experience caring for infants * Reliable, patient, nurturing, and attentive * Comfortable following our routines and parenting preferences * Infant CPR and first-aid certified * Non smoker * Able to provide references * Comfortable around our medium size dog, Australian Shepherd This is a screen free position. Personal phone use should be limited to emergencies or necessary communication while our son is awake. Neighborhood walks are permitted, but the sitter will not be allowed to drive our son or take him anywhere by car. No laundry or general household cleaning is required. Responsibilities are limited to caring for our son and tidying up anything used during his care.
