Full-Time Daycare Assistant – German-English Home Daycare in Mountain View | $25/hour We are looking for a warm, patient, reliable, and caring person to join our small German-English home daycare in Mountain View as a full-time Daycare Assistant. Our daycare is located in a beautiful townhouse next to a park, with a nice backyard in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. We have created a calm, natural, and welcoming environment inspired by Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia principles. We care for up to 12 children between approximately 4 months and 4 years old. You would be joining a supportive team of three: the owner, one full-time assistant, and one part-time assistant. We value kindness, patience, teamwork, and a peaceful, nurturing atmosphere. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM 30-minute unpaid break $25/hour We are looking for someone interested in a stable, long-term position, ideally for at least one year. Responsibilities include: • Caring for and supporting the children throughout the day • Diaper changes and potty training support • Helping with daily routines, play, and activities • Preparing breakfast and helping with cooking and meal prep • Preparing lunch for the following day • Keeping the children’s spaces clean and organized • Working closely with the rest of the team No formal childcare education or teaching degree is required. Previous experience with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, daycare, preschool, or nannying is strongly preferred. Speaking German is a big plus, but it is not required. We are hoping to find someone who is warm, dependable, patient, proactive, organized, comfortable in a busy childcare environment, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
