Queer, nontraditional family searching for someone who would be interested in helping one of the parents in our family watch both of the infants for a few hours at a time. Flexible scheduling. We envision this as a “mother’s helper” role. We’re likely looking for 5-10hrs a week spread over 2-3 days, and we can be pretty flexible to accommodate your schedule. One of us will always be present with you, and you will never be caring for the babies alone. We’ll be working as a team to take care of both babies. We just need a little help and an extra set of hands when it’s just one parent here with both of our babies. We’re happy to work with the right person regardless of age, sex, race, experience, etc, but it’s very important that you are happy to work with a queer family. We’d be a good fit for you if you believe trans rights are human rights, Black Lives Matter, no human being is illegal, etc. Teens with parents who are comfortable with this are welcome. For the parents of any such teens: we (the parents seeking help) can provide documentation of clean background checks so you know your teen is safe in our home. For any adults looking at this position for themselves, we will ask you about previous experience/references/background checks. We have one 20lb dog in our home, who will be happy to meet you.
