Two Clinton Hill / Fort Greene families are looking for a warm, reliable caregiver to join a part-time nanny share for our two daughters, who attend the same school and are friends. The Role This is a flexible mix of childcare and family-helper duties for two 3 year olds and their families. On any given day, you might be watching a family’s child solo (for example, if a parent needs you to handle school pickup), or a parent may handle pickup themselves and you'll instead help out at home while the kids are around. Think starting dinner prep, a load of laundry, general tidying. Some days will lean more toward hands-on childcare, others more toward household support. We need someone comfortable and capable in both modes. Two days a week you’ll work with one family, two days with the other, and on Friday you’ll pick up both girls from school. What We're Looking For Genuine experience and comfort caring for young children/toddlers (both kids are 3 years old) Comfortable helping with light household tasks: cooking, dishes, meal prep, laundry, general tidying Reliable, warm, communicative, and flexible with the day-to-day mix of duties Comfortable working across two different households and coordinating with two sets of parents Someone interested in taking the kids to the playground, library, or other activities Occasional extended evenings to cover for date nights, supporting the families when a parent is traveling for support with bath and bedtime, etc. Okay with a cute dog 🐶 The Schedule Hours are approximately 5 - 7 PM, Monday through Thursday and 4pm - 6pm on Friday, with some flexibility Monday & Wednesday: with Family A (Sophie's family) Tuesday & Thursday: with Family B (Zora's family) Friday: pick up both girls together from school at 4 PM, then time at the playground, library, or one of the two homes (arranged week to week)Nanny job details
