Looking for a Part-Time Babysitter I’m looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and responsible babysitter to help with my kids 2 days a week, approximately 8–10 hours total per week. A few details about what I’m looking for: • No driving required — you will not be responsible for transporting the kids. • I will be home most of the time while you’re here. As trust is established, I may leave for short periods, but the kids will still be supervised by you. • I’m looking for someone who will be actively engaged with the kids, rather than simply watching them. This includes playing with them, doing age-appropriate learning activities, reading, doing crafts, going outside, and taking them to the park when appropriate. • Help with simple meals and snacks for the kids. • Clean-up is part of the job — I expect the sitter to pick up after the kids and clean up any messes made during their time in your care, including toys, dishes, food, etc. • Flexibility is important. I’m looking for someone who can be somewhat flexible with which two days we schedule each week, depending on our needs and availability. • References are required. I’d like references from previous families/people you have provided childcare for. • This will be a legitimate, documented childcare arrangement, as I will be reporting/claiming the childcare expense for tax purposes. I’m looking for someone who is patient, dependable, attentive, energetic, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children.
