About this nanny job

We’re looking for a warm, reliable, experienced full-time nanny to care for our son, Walter, starting immediately after Thanksgiving. Walter is a very happy, social toddler with no developmental or special needs. He enjoys books, walks, playgrounds, music, and exploring the neighborhood, and we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and helping them learn through play. We live in a beautiful, spacious home in St. Francis Wood in San Francisco, with plenty of room for Walter to play indoors and easy access to nearby parks and neighborhood activities. Our regular schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Monday and Tuesday are generally daytime hours. On Fridays and Saturdays, we’re looking for help through Walter’s bedtime in the evening. The position is approximately full-time, around 40 hours per week. Responsibilities are primarily focused on Walter, including meals, naps, playtime, outings, reading, light tidying related to him, and helping keep his spaces organized. We’re hoping to find someone dependable, affectionate, proactive, and interested in becoming a consistent part of our family’s routine. We’d especially value someone who is comfortable taking Walter on walks and outings and who brings good judgment and positive energy to the day.
