Nanny Needed in Washington, DC

Part-Time Nanny/Caregiver I am looking for a reliable, caring, and dependable part-time nanny/caregiver to help care for my two children, a toddler and a 5-year-old. Schedule: * Approximately 20 hours per week * Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday * Schedule may be adjusted slightly based on the children’s school, daycare, therapy, and transportation needs * Additional hours may occasionally be available if mutually agreed upon Responsibilities include: * Picking the children up from their respective childcare/school centers * Safely transporting the children when needed * Helping with therapy appointments and other scheduled activities * Preparing and serving meals and snacks * Preparing and labeling bottles for the toddler * Preparing the 5-year-old’s lunch when needed * Helping the children transition from school/daycare into their evening routine * Keeping the children safe, comfortable, and engaged * Helping with evening and bedtime routines * Laying out clothes and keeping the children’s belongings organized * Light child-related cleanup * Communicating with me about the children’s needs, schedule, and anything that comes up I am looking for someone who is dependable, patient, comfortable caring for two young children at the same time, and interested in a consistent, long-term position. Experience with toddlers, preschool/early elementary-aged children, and children who may need additional support is a plus. The most important qualities to me are reliability, safety, patience, communication, and someone who genuinely enjoys working with children.
