Mother's Helper Needed ASAP | $20/hr | 12-15 hrs/week | Uptown Maumee Hi! I'm a mom to baby Sofia (born early, doing great) and work from home in Uptown Maumee. I'm looking for a warm, reliable mother's helper to join our rhythm a few days a week. We also have two sweet dogs who are part of the family. This role is primarily about helping me keep things running so I can focus on self-care, postpartum recovery, writing, and meetings without the mental load of managing the house or tending to my daughter's needs when I'm in work mode. You'd be working alongside me in the home. I'll be around for questions, but I need hands-on support with everything that piles up when I'm parenting solo. Dad works full-time in healthcare and may be home resting from time to time. What I need help with: - Meal prep — washing/chopping/portioning ingredients for lunches and dinners - Grocery ordering and pickup - Laundry — running loads, folding, bringing up from the basement - Holding Sofia and handling care times while I'm doing self-care, in deep focus blocks, or in meetings - Dishes — loading and unloading the dishwasher - Watering the house/porch plants - Bringing in mail and packages - Letting in and directing contractors when needed - Walking and feeding the dogs - Light tidying and organizing around the house as needed Schedule & pay: - $20/hr - 12-15 hours per week, spread across 3 days ideally (flexible on which days) - 4-5 hour blocks - Start ASAP, no later than September 28 NOTE: I'm open to this role evolving. If we find a great fit, there's potential for more hours and more responsibility with higher pay, including sole-charge childcare down the line. About you: - Comfortable with infants (NICU/preemie experience is a huge plus) - Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus - Self-directed and reliable - Comfortable around dogs - Kind, calm, and patient - Looking for something consistent and ongoing - Driver's license and reliable car required (for grocery pickup and errands) - Must be up-to-date on flu, COVID, and Tdap vaccines - Background check required (we pay) - Infant CPR/First-Aid certified is a big plus - Ages 18+ only If this sounds like a fit, I'd love to hear from you!
