About this nanny job

We're looking for a warm, experienced part-time nanny to help care for our daughter Eve, who is 6 months old (born a few weeks early, so she's on the smaller side and we keep a close eye on her feeding and growth). She's a happy, curious baby who just started commando-crawling and loves tummy time, faces, and being talked to. About our family: We live in a high-rise in Rincon Hill/SoMa. Eve's grandmother (Ah Ma) lives with us and is her primary daytime caregiver, so you'd be working alongside her rather than solo — think of it as a team. Ah Ma speaks Mandarin with Eve, and it's a language we're building at home, so Mandarin is a plus but not required. What matters most is someone attentive, engaged, and happy to chat and sing to her throughout the day. What the day looks like: Bottle feeds (formula), naps in her crib, tummy time and floor play, walks in the stroller, diaper changes (she's very particular about a clean diaper!), lotion for mild eczema, and generally being a calm, attentive presence. We're starting solids soon and will be doing gentle sleep training this fall, so we'd want you comfortable following a consistent routine we set together. What we're looking for: - Infant experience (under 1 year), ideally with a small or early baby - Infant CPR certified (or willing to get certified before start) - Comfortable working collaboratively with a grandparent - Reliable, communicative, and happy to share little updates through the day - References required If this sounds like a fit, we'd love to hear from you — please share a bit about your infant experience.
