About this nanny job

We are looking for a family assistant to start ASAP. This hybrid role includes afternoon childcare for a 7 year old boy as well as basic house assisting duties such as errands (grocery shopping, short dog walks, project oversight of gardeners and home maintenance contractors, etc). Afterschool care includes picking up from school and taking to/from activities Monday through Friday. We are a busy family looking for someone responsible yet fun and playful because our child is very imaginative and active. We are hoping to find someone who can come in, see the rhythm of our family and can think ahead for what our family might need to function more efficiently. Help with homework and kid-assigned chores will be required. Engaging in age appropriate activities such as art projects, bike riding at the park or swimming at our home is also a requirement. To be clear, we are not looking for someone to come in and sit off to the side. We are looking for someone willing to kick a soccer ball around, get on the floor and build with Magna Tiles or help our son invent games to play. So, please be active and willing to join in on the fun. Must have your own reliable and safe transportation. We reimburse for mileage and provide a booster car seat. We can guarantee 25 hours per week but might extend to 30 hours depending on skill sets. Hours are 2pm - 7pm Monday through Friday. We prefer a minimum of 5 years nanny experience. Any experience as a house or family assistant is a bonus. Rate of pay is $25-$30 per hour, DOE. Pay will be on the books through payroll. A background check will be required so all applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. English speaking is also a must. Please send references along with resume through DM.
