About this nanny job

Hi everyone! We’re a family near downtown San Anselmo looking for a warm, reliable nanny/family assistant for our 3-year-old daughter. We’ve been incredibly lucky with the nannies we’ve had, including finding our current wonderful nanny through this group! They’ve truly become part of our family, and we hope to find that kind of relationship again. I was also a nanny myself for many years, so I have a lot of respect for the role and the person caring for our daughter. Schedule — 20 guaranteed hours/week • Mon: 12:45–4:45 • Tues: 1:30–5:00 • Weds: 8:00–4:30 • Thurs: 12:45–4:45 The role: Mon/Thurs include preschool pickup in Kentfield, snack + nap/rest, then play, parks, activities, etc. Wednesday is a full nanny day with outings, meals/snacks, rest, and play. On nanny days, we ask for normal child-related cleanup plus help unloading the dishwasher. Tuesday is a hybrid family-assistant afternoon. Our daughter is often with her grandparents, so when she is, we’d love help with household laundry, light tidying/organizing, errands, and simple food prep. This isn’t a formal house-manager role — just someone comfortable pitching in with normal household tasks. Otherwise, you’d pick her up from preschool and spend the afternoon with her. Pay: $32–$34/hour depending on experience Location:*San Anselmo (near downtown) + preschool pickup in Kentfield We provide: 20 guaranteed paid hours every week, paid PTO, and our vehicle for on-the-job driving. We’re looking for someone with strong toddler/preschool experience who is warm, playful, reliable, communicative, CPR certified, has a clean driving record, and is comfortable with the Tuesday family-assistant responsibilities. Optional date-night/weekend availability is a bonus! Important: Our daughter has a severe peanut/tree-nut allergy, so we need someone who takes allergy safety seriously and is comfortable learning our cross-contamination and emergency protocols, including EpiPen use. We provide training; prior allergy experience is a bonus but not required. Strong English fluency is important for safety communication and supporting our daughter’s language development. Bilingual caregivers are absolutely welcome! Most of all, we’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys this age and wants to build a close, trusting relationship with our daughter and family. If this sounds like a fit, we’d love to connect and set up a paid trial!
