About this nanny job
Looking for a warm, energetic, and proactive extra pair of hands to help our family navigate the late afternoon and evening routine with our two wonderful young children (ages 3.5 and 1.5). Once I return home, both kids naturally want my (mom's) attention, and I’m looking for a support partner to help tag-team dinner, bath time, play, and evening prep so our evenings run smoothly. What the Role Looks Like: Your daily focus will shift depending on what the evening needs: - Tag-Teaming Childcare: Engaging with one child while I’m with the other or watching both during dynamic play (or in the hours before I arrive home, handing off from our day time childcare). - Evening Routine Support: Helping prep their dinner, assisting with bath time setup (getting towels, bath toys, and PJs ready), and winding down before bed. - Household "Reset": When I'm directly with the kids, we’d love your help resetting the house so we start from a clean and orderly space the following day, including: --> Tidying bedrooms and the toy room. --> Dinner cleanup (wiping counters, loading/unloading the dishwasher, washing pots and pans). --> Next-day prep, including packing lunch for my 3.5-year-old’s school day. Schedule & Hours: Hours: Late afternoon/evening, roughly 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (flexible on exact start/end times, please share your availability). 3 Days/week to begin, most likely Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Known 'firm' dates include Sept 22-25, Sept 28-Oct 1. Ideal Candidate: - Proactive, intuitive, and comfortable stepping into a team dynamic with a hands-on parent (You see what needs to be done and just do it) - Experienced with toddlers and young children. - Reliable, organized, and happy to jump in with light household organization and meal cleanup.Nanny job details
