Part-Time Preschool Nanny/Teacher for 3-Year-Old — Brooklyn (Daytime, 1–3 Days/Week) Schedule: 1–3 days/week, daytime (e.g., 9am–2pm, flexible) Pay: $22–$28/hr depending on experience About us: Two parent household in Brooklyn. I work overnight (9pm–8am) and sleep during the day, so I need a reliable caregiver to independently run structured learning time and care while I rest. My son is 3, energetic, curious, and on 3-K/early-childhood waitlists — this is a bridge role until a spot opens, not casual babysitting. What I'm looking for: Experience with toddlers/preschoolers (ECE background a strong plus) Comfortable working independently without parent supervision Warm, patient, consistent — ideally the same person each week, not rotating sitters Experience supporting potty training with positive reinforcement and consistency CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified Reliable and punctual Typical day includes: Letters, numbers, colors, shapes Reading/storytime Arts, crafts, sensory play Potty training practice and reinforcement throughout the day Outdoor time/park walks Gross-motor play (throwing, dancing, obstacle courses) Meal/snack prep and supervision Occasionally accompanying him to a local activity (gymnastics, music) if scheduling allows Nice to have: ECE, Montessori, or teaching background Experience with toddlers not yet in full-time school Bilingual a plus Logistics: I'll be asleep during your shift — need someone confident being fully in charge, reaching me only for emergencies via text I'll share a simple weekly routine but welcome your input Looking for consistent day(s) each week, not one-off shifts To apply: Share your experience with toddlers and potty training, your availability, and why you enjoy early-childhood care.
