✨ Weekly Evening Caregiver for Our 2-Year-Old We're looking for a reliable, warm and proactive caregiver to help us out at least two nights per week with our 2 year-old son's daycare pickup, aftercare playtime, dinner (including cooking), and bedtime. To start, we'd do a trial evening at our home (without the pickup) to make sure it's a good fit for everyone before moving to the full routine. 🗓️ Schedule – 2-3 days per week, currently planning for Monday/Thursdays (though the exact days may shift week to week based on our schedules). Ongoing. – Daycare pickup between 4:30–5:30pm, bedtime around 8:30pm (~4 hours/evening). Bonus: someone open to expanding into a more involved house manager role including meal prep and grocery shopping. 🏡 What the evening looks like ▸ Pick up our son from daycare in Mission Bay ▸ Head to our home in Lower Haight ▸ Cook and serve him dinner (or feed him what we've already prepped/provided) ▸ Playtime; he's in an active stage! We stop by Duboce Park after daycare a lot. We don't have the TV on for him during the week, only on weekends. ▸ Bedtime routine, down between 8:30–9pm. He's a good sleeper and goes down quickly after some quiet chill time. ▸ Tidy up throughout the evening, especially cleaning up after his meal and playtime toys 🚗 Transportation You'll need reliable transportation from the Mission Bay daycare to our home in Lower Haight. ► Car: We can provide a car seat for your car. (Note: street parking only at our home.) ► Bus: The 22 is a convenient option — there's a stop right in front of daycare, and it drops off at Fillmore & Haight, a short walk to our place. 👶 About our son He's light-hearted, cheeky, and curious; does well with caregivers who match his energy and engage with him playfully. He's been potty training for a couple months at home and daycare. He wears pants without a diaper during the day and and a diaper to bed.
