We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and engaging nanny for our 9-month-old daughter starting in early to mid-October (exact start date is flexible). We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely loves working with babies and will become a trusted part of our family. About the Position • Location: Los Gatos (close to downtown) • Guaranteed 25 hours/week, typically 25–30 hours • Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 12–5 pm, though some morning shifts can be accommodated • Some flexibility to start an hour earlier or stay an hour later on certain days would be ideal, as my work schedule can vary week to week Who We’re Looking For • Warm, dependable, proactive, and communicative • Prior nanny/childcare experience, particularly with infants and young toddlers • Comfortable planning age-appropriate activities that support learning and developmental milestones • CPR and first aid certified • Strong references • Non-smoker • Up-to-date on vaccinations • Comfortable with dogs as we have a very friendly (and cute!) 2-year-old Golden Retriever Responsibilities • Providing attentive care for our daughter, including feeding, diaper changes, naps, walks, playtime, and outings (no car needed) • Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and supporting developmental milestones • Light household help when time allows, including washing bottles/dishes, baby laundry, meal prep, and keeping play/eating areas tidy • I work from home a couple days a week, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable with a parent being in the house while still confidently taking the lead on childcare during working hoursNanny job details
